Quite a few people commented and emailed asking if the Copyblogger theme came in three columns instead of only two. I basically thought these people were out of luck, but lo and behold, the guys over at Open Source Candy modified the theme to have 3 columns and they are offering this 3 column version to anyone who wants it. Check it out—they’re using a color-changed and tweaked version of it themselves.

I’ve updated the Copyblogger Theme page so that everyone will have a choice between two columns and three. Many thanks to the guys at Open Source Candy for doing this!

When Brian rolled out the latest design for Copyblogger, he promised to chain me to a computer and whip me until I was able to resurrect the old design as a ubiquitous WordPress theme.

Today, I’m happy to announce that the chains have come off, the welts on my back are beginning to heal, and you, my friends, have a brand new toy—the Copyblogger Theme for WordPress. Click to continue →

This isn’t a proper entry in Darren Rowse’s latest Group Writing Project, but since I have five announcements and he’s running a “Top Five” contest this time around, I thought I should at least get in the spirit of things. If you haven’t joined in, get yourself a free link and a shot at $1001 in cash.

OK all you feed and email readers, go ahead and click through for a look at the new Copyblogger design.
Chris Pearson’s breakout design for Copyblogger has served me well for over a year, and I think his latest reinterpretation is even better. Feel free to share your feedback in the comments section, and thanks as always to Chris for all his hard work.
I’ll have more new developments soon, so stay tuned.

Daily Blog Tips is having another of its Bloggers Face-Off battles, and they’ve pitted me against former Performancing editor Chris Garrett. The contest seemed pretty fair until Garrett called upon his subscribers to trounce me.
Now, I don’t want to tell you that you need to go over there immediately and vote for me. But you don’t want to see me cry, do you? Trust me, you don’t.
Stop by and see who gave the better answers, and then vote for me anyway. :)

Well, at least for a bit.
I’m off for a much-needed vacation with the family. I’ll be back sometime in the middle of next week.
But I’m not leaving you hanging. You’ll be getting great stuff from visiting copybloggers Chris Garrett, Roberta Rosenberg, and in what may become a collectors item, a post from Carson Brackney of Content Done Better, who has just announced he’s going to the dark side taking a job and closing up shop.
Enjoy, and have a wonderful weekend.
