Over the last 4 years, I’ve launched several companies from this simple blog of mine. The idea that building an audience with content and letting the revenue-generating ideas, products, and services reveal themselves based on what the audience actually wants has worked out amazingly well.
It’s become a full-fledged business model.
And yet, there’s a bigger picture. These last years I’ve been putting together pieces of a broader vision – things that work together as one, for our internal use and for you. Problem was, the only common element in each of these different companies was me, and often that made unity of purpose difficult.
So, this is an announcement of a coming together of my various companies, plus the addition of a valued outside venture. And right about now, you’re thinking…
Who Cares?
I know, it’s hard to get excited about what’s essentially a press release of a merger. Hot stuff, right?
And yet, any great company exists not for its shareholders or employees, but for the people it serves.
And we’re aiming to be a great company.
So, let me first tell you who’s involved. And then I’ll tell you what we’ll be doing better for you.
The People
Here are the principals of our new organization:
- Brian Clark – As CEO of Copyblogger Media, I’ll be working for the other four people on this list.
- Sonia Simone – At the beginning of 2009, Sonia was naive enough to leave her corporate job to become Senior Editor of Copyblogger, and later co-founded Third Tribe. She’s now Chief Marketing Officer of Copyblogger Media, and an owner. So far, so good.
- Tony Clark - Tony and I co-created Teaching Sells, and he’s the wizard behind the curtain inside Third Tribe. He’s also putting the finishing touches on a new WordPress product called Premise. His preferred title is “awesomeness.”
- Sean Jackson – Sean is the creator of Scribe (along with one of our code ninjas, Chris Thompson), which is now a core product of Copyblogger Media. He’s also our CFO, a great tech mind, and a shrewd Ms. Pacman player.
- Brian Gardner – Brian is the founder of StudioPress, creator of the Genesis Framework for WordPress, and a ton of turnkey designs that work with it. Brian and his team have earned over 30,000 customers to date, and their merger into Copyblogger Media completes the online content creation trinity of Genesis, Scribe, and Premise.
The Plan
Having all these great people in one company allows us to do even bigger and better things. This means better products, prices, and support. It also means more and better free content, unique live events, and even new platforms.
We’ll be sharing more details in the months to come. But what about you?
What would you like from us?
Let’s start a conversation in the comments. Because without you, none of us would have a job we love.
About the Author: Brian Clark is founder of Copyblogger and CEO of Copyblogger Media. Get more from Brian on Twitter.

I cannot even tell you how happy I am about this. Rabid fan of everyone involved (yes, I was a user and a subscriber to everything before the merger) that when I heard, I was ecstatic.
My husband thinks my excitement is all a bit silly since I don’t even personally know any of you, but this is the beauty of having an online community that you spend a large part of your day with.
So congratulations to all involved.
I hope to see big things happening and trust me, you will see more of me!
Nanci Murdock
Thanks Nanci!
Aw, how neat, thanks Nanci.
I second that emotion, Nanci. I’m also a devoted follower. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
Nanci, you captured my reaction to this post.
By a stroke of luck, I ran into CopyBlogger and Brian Clark just a years ago. Ever since, I’ve tried to be on top of his products launches. Like you, my girlfriend thinks that I’m irrationally exuberant and effusive about CopyBlogger. She calls me “CopyBlogger devotee.”
For me, there is no pulling back the lever on a good company with substance.
Where do I start?
The blog alone is full of powerful and great content. Free content that you can hardly find anywhere else. It’s well written, in a juicy prose. It is very common for me to have four browsers open with contents from this blog and have them on for hours.
I mean, I can go on and on. But this not the place for it.
I use Thesis Theme because of CopyBlogger. I bought Partnering Profit because of CopyBlogger. I bought Freelance X Factor, I have ScribeSEO, and will soon join the Tribe. I missed Teaching Sells but it’s OK.
There is, every reason to be exited about Brian and his cast. If you’ve felt the sting of dishonest marketers, marauding the internet, you will know that excitement for Brian Clark and his products is not a misplaced euphoria.
I experience daily uptick in my offline businesses simply by applying some off the tips I read from CopyBlogger. Now, I’m starting again to apply the same tips to online business as well. Just a matter of time, I will be experiencing the same offline success in my online activities.
I wish we were in a dance studio, I would have have led you guys in back-sliding dance skit.
Thank you Nanci, also to Brian and his cast. I’m genuinely happy for you and with you.
When’s the companies first internship?
Where do I apply?
Excited to see what’s next!
Don’t tempt us… we could use some interns.
I WILL temp you. Consider this my ringing endorsement of said internships. Plus, I’m visually impaired so you get a tax break
Sounds exciting. Change is good!
Whatever you produce, please remember that this marketplace has gotten quite crowded, and yes, cluttered. Make sure we know why what you’re offering is unique and a “must” for your audience. Otherwise I’m looking for a reason to hit “delete.”
Harsh, I know….
Harsh but true. I never stop fearing “delete” — it keeps me focused on trying harder.
I would love to see copyblogger open itself up to freelance projects, but even more exciting would be the establishment of some kind of blogging tour across many cities, so that people could participate in the learning/netowrking experience on a smaller scale than the national conferences… perhaps have local copyblogger representatives that can act as both teachers and salespeople for the latest and greatest whatever…
You could have local product demos, chances to meet that cast of characters and great ways for people to network and benefit their own blogs and businesses in the process.
Great news on the merger. It’s important to have a unified company behind all of your seperate brands, but I’d keep with your current strategy of branding everything individually instead of trying to be like Virgin and create Copyblogger Everything. Better to pin-point than to dilute.

The Underdog Millionaire
Joshua, I would never try to do the “Copyblogger Everything” approach that Branson uses, simply because “Virgin” lends itself so much better to that strategy than our made-up word. Plus, the independent brands are extremely important to us.
As for the local thing, that’s interesting. John over at Duct Tape Marketing does something like that with his coaching network. Still need to get him on the phone and pick his brain on that.
Frankly, it sounds to me like that’s exactly what you are doing – and it scares me. It may just be my personal taste, but my personal experience has been that the bigger things get, the more I get mired in the behemoth. Despite your protestations that this amalgamation will simplify things, I have doubts. I hope I am wrong! Copyblogger itself – it’s neat, compact self- is the most readable and useful blog I read, and I don’t want to lose it.
Brian,
As much as you love music, I hope you find a way to work in a music-related venture next.
Shane, you may have to settle for music references in the headlines. Oh look, it’s the Beatles.
Of course, as a design nerd the first thing I notice is the new Copyblogger.com design; very nice! And I’m also excited to see the new projects roll out- please keep inspiring us with valuable content and products!
Congrats on the re-org Brian! Looking forward to learning about your upcoming events.
Thanks Mike. Actually want to run some things by you. You’ll be at BlogWorld, right?
Yep. But we should talk before then as we have a packed schedule.
Congratulations guys and gal. The question is, how long until we hear more news about Premise and “the other project?” This “coming soon…” stuff makes me feel like I’m in a movie theatre! Either way, I look forward to seeing it all play out. Much luck!
Derek, no one’s more frustrated with “coming soon” than me. It’s such a pain that people have to actually build these things.
Need a wrench? Ha ha.
Great news and congratulations to the switch to Genesis!
Looking forward to what will come out of your new setup! You have already taught me a lot about good copy-writing.
Good luck!
Brian -
Congrats to all of you. Looking forwarding to working with Copyblogger Media in the future for the betterment of the WordPress community.
Thanks Grant. It was nice getting to know you and Clay better at OpenCamp.
Congrats everyone! Best of luck with everything and thank-you for everything you’ve shared and created so far.
Brian…congratulations. Sounds like the next, right step for what you have been doing. Keep up the great work and here’s to more success.
Best
Joe
Brian, Tony, Sonia, Sean & Brian – congrats on your new venture. You have all impacted my life and business in some way and I’m looking forward to more great stuff from you all. Cheers!
I just want to see where you all take this so I can copy you and make a lot of money and have a lot of fans etc.
Beyond that, I’d like to see a network of “Copyblogger Media Approved” contractors that businesses can hire to do content marketing/copywriting.
It’s one thing to teach it, but unless you’re an official internet marketer I don’t think most biz owners have the time to learn. They need a hiring pool they can trust.
It would also be good for joint ventures among Copyblogger readers.
I realize 3T kind of fills this space, but I think there’s enough of a need where a public-facing network would be helpful.
Just a thought.
Congrats!
Paul, we’ve been talking about that internally for a while. It’s a great idea, and it needs to be handled properly to really work well.
If there’s anyone to handle it properly it’s you guys
Congrats to all involved. Looks to be one heck of a team.
Thanks for all of the great services and products you have provided up to this point. Can hardly wait for the “coming soon” stuff, like Derek said.
The “new platforms” intrigues me.
Congratulations! I’ll be looking forward to seeing what you create together. You’re all going to have to work hard to top some of the things you have already done.
I’m a beginner in the game who, thanks to me sharing my passion on social media and all to my boss, is being thrown into the waters of copywriting and graphic design. I’m learning a lot here at Copyblogger and am very inspired by this wonderful news. If there’s one thing I’ll ask from you is this: keep it coming!
Best of luck!
Brian, you are my Seth Godin:) With good taste in music.
Debbie Ferm
Brian,
I’m still waiting for a Copyblogger coffee mug. I think those would rock.
Didn’t notice the new textured header until now…I like it.
@Nathan: I SECOND THAT…AGAIN! And referencing my comment above about Brian doing something music related, even local highschool bands do merchandising! I’m SURE copyblogger can rise to this level. (ducks)
We’ve got some merch planned, more for fun than to make money. I’ve always wanted to sell t-shirts and coffee cups with pithy one-liners on them.
Here are some pithy one-liners for you, Brian:
http://seriouskidding.com/subjects/bumperstickers/stick-a.htm
I love the coming soon stuff. Congratulations to the entire Copyblogger Team. You guys (and gal) are all amazingly hard working, dedicated and an absolute inspiration. Good luck with everything!
Brian
I have received an education from Copyblogger. I appreciate the work you do, and I am a big Brian Gardner fan. I have a few writers at my football website, Dfwfootball.net, and I am going to suggest they subscribe to your updates. I know can learn a lot about writing, especially for the web, from copyblogger. I wish you guys the best!
Excellent news!
Now, hopefully you will get big enough to go after super ginormous corporate clients… and open up the “consumer space” for ambitious up-and-comers. j/k! (maybe
)
Dave, we like to think of ourselves as a business-to-business company. Especially how businesses can be built these days.
Looks like you got a good little business going there. Let me know if I can help.
Well, way to go, Folks. I always feel like I’ve arrived with too little, too late. A day late and a dollar short also works. I’ve craved online success so bad I could taste it for years. But alas, I guess I just never possess the knowledge in time to prosper. I know it’s not all about the money, but a lot of it is. C’mon, that’s the masses’ bottom line, especially these days. Good luck to you. I will be interested to see exactly what you bring to the table this time that will benefit my little business. When I say “little,” I aim for it to become huge one day. Thanks for listening. Oh, and the Beatles were and still are Ground Zero for me musically.
–Grant “Brad” Gerver
Grant, sometimes it takes a lot of time. Or there’s some little piece that’s not in place yet. My best advice is to stay stubborn, and at the same time stay flexible enough to tweak your approach. It sounds like you’re committed to making it happen, and that’s the most important thing.
Thanks for the positivity, Sonia. It’s a real necessity.
Stay Stubborn.
I may have that tattooed on my . . . well, never mind where. Thanks, Sonia, I needed that.
Jack Price
I have only recently come across Copyblogger and Third Tribe.
I am an English Communications Consultant and Copywriter and have been a member of the Glazer-Kennedy ‘tribe’ for a few years.
For various reasons, I do not feel it is now congruent with how I think and feel. Nor, is is quite right for some of my UK and European prospects.
Your approach is. I am looking forward to learning more…
A few months ago, before I ‘found you’, I changed my style and approach – I now realize I was naturally gravitating to the ‘third tribe’ approach.
I will be interested to meet other English writers who think the same way.
Joe
Joe, I’m a Kennedy refugee as well. Well, not really a refugee, but I consider myself a student of theirs without being a member of their tribe. Both Bill & Dan are smart, but like you, I don’t feel like I’m truly aligned with their way of thinking.
We have all been so excited about this, so it’s awesome to see it’s not just us.
^ What she said.
I want to know who does Brian Clark’s hair and goatee. I hear he gets gigs from his prettiness. Need to get me some of that.
He outsourced the prettiness to me.
Now THAT’S funny.
Jon Morrow?
Jon is tremendous and we will keep working with him as long as he’ll have us.
He’s doing some great projects on his own, but he’ll also remain an important presence here.
Thanks Sonia. Was just curious as to why he wasn’t on the list. Love you all!
I just wanted to make a brief statement about the formation of Copyblogger Media. While I haven’t been an active commenter here at Copyblogger over the years, I’ve lurked and thoroughly enjoyed the conversation and community that’s been built. As excited as I am to be working alongside Brian, Sean, Tony and Sonia – I’m more excited to work my way into the Copyblogger community.
Many of you, like Todd, are StudioPress users – and I thank you for that! This is such a great opportunity for us all to serve you and provide you a complete web publishing experience – which is something that I, personally, am really looking forward to.
Darn you Brian. With a heartfelt comment like that, I’ll have to check out what you are doing over there at StudioPress.
I can’t help it – I learned at an early age as a manager of a local convenient store how important customer service is. Knowing people by name, asking how their day went and making them feel good about picking up a gallon of milk was something that I valued immensely.
Thankfully, I’m back in that line of business – even if it is online, I still get a chance to interact with folks who matter to me.
I think you’ll dig it, Lawton.
Brian G. is great folks and he’s crazy passionate about helping people. It’s been really fun to work with him.
I don’t know what any of this means….still I can’t help but get excited because I’ve learned so much from following (& subscribing) to you guys in the last 6 months. Congratulations!
Gini
Awesome news! Congrats all!
What I’d like to hear more about is how to reach an audience that is hiding out. I’m trying to reach women with hair loss (as many women as men have hair loss) and am not allowed in hair loss forums as a business owner. I’m having a really hard time reaching my market. So, I’d like to hear more about targeting a market that wants to be found but isn’t hanging out anywhere
What? No congrats from Pearson yet
Well done, all of you – it’s a beautiful coup d’état! And it’s been very cool to be part all this as a reader and writer. Here’s to many awesome years to come!
I can only say that I’m bitterly disappointed I wasn’t invited to join and can only presume it was an oversight.
I was under the impression EVERY business needed a middle -aged balding limey with pasty skin and a foul mouth. In fact I think Seth Godin said those exact words, or maybe it was me, I forget now.
Oh well I’ll just have to aim for solo world domination, cackling as I do.
A begrudging good luck.
Cool to see. Congrats everyone.
Patrick
Brian, there’s a valid reason people keep coming back again and again to not just this site, but all the properties you run–you genuinely care about us. THis is indeed rare my friend. Keep this up, and you’ll go farther than even you know.
Lawton
I never leave comments here because I prefer that people not know that I associate with you crazies and secretly read Copyblogger huddled in my bed with a flashlight, eschewing my comic book stack in favor of blog posts about the 9 ways that blogging is like Donna Summer’s Career. But fine, FINE fine…. congratulations. Fine.
In all seriousness though, big ups for pushing ahead and making good things happen when so many people bark loudly but simply sit around on their butt. I’m a fan, and can’t wait to get to know all the other members that are surely just as batshit crazy as you and Sonia. Or close. Which is most of the fun.
Can’t wait to support what you guys are doing, and toast to your success in Vegas.
Ha ha! Caught yew.
Amber leaves a comment, dogs and cats living together… mass hysteria!
You bring out the crazy in me. What can I say?
Congratulations Brian and the whole team. Having followed and learned from most of you, it’s a pleasure to see you all together as a team. Can’t wait to see how many more awesome things you all will create.
Wishing you all the success.
Cheers,
Rajesh
I too think it would be great to figure out how to tap into the ‘hiding’ fans. Maybe some markets, like the non profit-let’s-help-kids 0-5 fan page we run, is too hard a market to crack. Twitter seems more vibrant. Maybe we’re missing the mark.
So why did you and Pearson split? Is it because there is no more money to be made from Thesis? I mean, everything was fine until the Thesis theme fell under the GPL license. It was the best theme in the whole world and all the sudden, Genesis IS the best theme in the whole world.
Brogan also left the boat and is now using Genesis too. There clearly is something going on behind this and I think it’s money related.
Thoughts?
Actually, the *one* thing it didn’t have to do with was money. We’re just moving in different directions. I wasn’t a good fit over there, and he’s not a good fit over here. It’s really that simple.
If you want more info, you can visit this interview I did about it.
All I want to know is… when and where’s the open-house party?
Congrats. Look forward to playing with all your new toys.
Joe
Congratulations Brian,
There are few things as exciting as growth. I commend you on taking things to the next level. It seems that this is a natural next step. I wish you and your team all the best in all of your future endeavors.
Tony Idem
What can I say Brian?
It’s funny how this internet of a thing works, bringing people from all over the world together connected by a common passion!
If having a loyal fan all the way from Africa (Nigeria) paying attention to all that you and your company represent matters, then consider your new entrepreneurial adventure a success!
Congrats on this new giant step! Looking forward to all the exciting stuff this new company stands to offer.
Above all, this sounds like you guys are going to be having a lot of fun. Awesome.
Can’t wait to see what’s next – although I’m sure my wallet is happy to, since it’s hard not to snatch up whatever you guys are doing next.
Congratulations!
Congrats, guys and gal. I can’t wait to see what this “coming soon” business is all about. I’ve been hearing about it in vague tweets from the team for nearly a month, and now THIS
Just wanted to say thanks, Chris – for coming by and leaving a comment. It speaks volumes.
Wow, and congrats to all involved. I think this will be a fantastic thing for the blogging world and new products that work will always be welcome.
).
Scribe is fantastic and I am sure the upcoming Premise will be as well (any hints here? pretty please
I use Studiopress themes and some I love and some I intensely dislike and I look forward to reviewing them again in a few months and seeing the changes for the better.
I am thrilled for all involved and look forward to watching how it all goes for you.
Hi Brian & team,
Some exciting new developments here.
Did I miss your listing of the updated and combined services + products, or is that coming in a future post? Keen to see for my + startup friends’ use…
Congrats to you all in coming together and forming Copyblogger Media; for the betterment of the online community, loyal fans and newcomers. Copyblogger has always been a resource for so many and to see it growing to expand and get even better is a welcoming.
Look forward to seeing a whole lot more and enjoying coming along for the virtual ride.
Congratulations to everyone. I’m a fan of both Thesis and StudioPress. I am a little out of the loop and haven’t paid much attention to the business side of anything that you guys are doing, but I love your content and read Copyblogger whenever it lands in my inbox.
Cheers to everyone here and to Chris, and you’re all doing great things for bloggers everywhere.
Thanks!
Tia
Guys-
Congrats. The biggest lesson that I learned from Brian Clark thus far is this: business relationships are key. Kindness (not content) is king.
Respecting the network you built and the relationships you have is what makes you successful.
The biggest thought: eventually business people will split up. Prenegotiating that, so the end comes and can be looked back on with gratitude and happiness if it turns out that this isn’t your life’s work.
Congratulations guys,
We are waiting here to see what’s knocking. Judging from the kind of stuff you provide on copyblogger, well…Something might just be coming. You have my nod!
I’m very excited for all of you AND for me. As far as I’m concerned, anything that Brian and Sonia are a part of is good as gold. I know that when you two are involved in a new product, I pretty much have a guarantee it is what you say it is. I look forward to seeing all the forthcoming goodies. Thank you again for being who you are. :0)
Evolution right before our very eyes. I look forward to seeing Copyblogger continue to flourish.
Congratulations to all involved! Does this mean you’ll be even harder to get ahold of?
Congrats to everyone! It is incredible to think that you are going to be able to provide even more value than you have already. Copyblogger sets its own bar pretty high and to jump over that- is well, inspiring!
Congratulations! As an internet writer, everything you write and teach has helped me hone my craft, have more fun and earn more money.
As a marketing partner for SilknScents.com and someone who acknowledges that she’d still be a cashier were it not for her mentor, I agree with Chris. Content is important, but kindness is king and business relationships are everything.
I look forward to seeing what you and your team create next!
This is Cool-Mo-Dee! I’m excited for myself and happy for your success, Brian and Sonia. Congratulations!
So…what is the Premise? And will you be offering some sort of magic package for those of us who want to pay for and use all of your products?
Great team and congrats for making an awesome blog. When did u start writing on this blog?
Cool announcement and I wish you all the best. I’ve jumped at Scribe, Third Tribe and Thesis – look forward to Premise and learning more about Genesis; have been a fan of Brian Gardner as much as Chris Pearson.
You have a great team assembled. It’s a brave new world!
Good move, keeping the tribe posted on behind the scenes action.
Hope this isn’t the beginning of the end of the anti-establishment business model we’ve come to know and love (does that mean it is the establishment?)
Thanks–Lee
I would say the vision & values are exactly what they’ve always been, but we’ve got ourselves a bit bigger canvas to paint on now.
Awesome! Best of luck! Looking forward to seeing what comes next!
Congratulations on your new venture. With this top-notch team, Copyblogger Media is bound to be a huge success. Copyblogger and the Third Tribe are such valuable assets, I can’t wait to see your new products.
This is such a great idea! Congrats to all of you and best of luck. I cannot wait to read about what you will do next.
Great news man glad to see things are moving on up for you and the team.
In some weird way, I personally
blamethank you for my role in this. I’ll never forget that first chat we had on Yahoo IM. Thanks for being a networker, David, and connecting me with Mark Saunders back in the day. It was an instrumental step in my online journey. No worries Brian, back in the day I was a serious networker. And yeah I always find it amazing all my friends are moving around working together to do amazing things.
Glad things are working out for you and the other Brian in my universe
My favorite Brian’s working together it’s awesome.
Thanks David. Not everyone knows the pioneer you were in blogging, but the right people do.
Team. This is big news.
First, let me say that I’m fresh-faced and wet behind the ears when it comes to blogging.
Second, let me say that, without fail, I get good, useful, practical take homes from each blog, and then from the (sometimes huge) list of comments. I spend as much time in them as on the post.
Third, and my plea. While I look forward to what you do, and am excited about what lies ahead, I hope we still get more of what we’ve been getting. Would hate to miss out!
Thanks for all the work, and I appreciate how much you all seem to love what you do.
Cheers
Brendon, the idea is to do more and better of what we’re doing now. Thanks for the vote of confidence.
Congrats, Brian!
(And everyone else, too)
I’m looking forward to seeing and experiencing more good stuff.
The Franchise King®
“what the audience actually wants” is what every company should focus on to be successful. Wish you best of luck and can’t wait to see some great stuff, Marios
Congrats and good luck- I can’t wait to see more!
Congrats on your developments! I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
I just came across your site a couple of weeks ago and I love the content…very helpful! Wish you the best!
Sweet. This site rocks & it couldn’t be happening to a better person.
I’m watching you closely Brian. You and your team are an inspiration. The lesson I learned today is that people DO care about “Corporate” news when you’ve earned their attention and trust. You’ve earned mine.
congrats on the changes.
sounds like a good team
Congrats to all of you!
Hope the new “Premise” is as cool as the tease is powerful
Looking forward to the new frontiers you guys will explore.
This is awesome! Congrats. I am so enthused that something this encapsulating has come about and look forward to what will come as a result of this.
I love reading this site! Congrats on the new move… I’m sure it will add to the experience.
Brian: Congratulations! Must be all kinds of emotions I’m sure but at the end of the day excitement over all of the things that are to come. You all make one heck of a team and I for one am looking forward to seeing things unfold and develop.
Congratulations once again and cheers to many, many good things ahead!
Congratulations to all involved!
I´m excited to see how our Copyblogger is grown up!
Cheers!
Congratulations all around.
Good luck with your plan for world domination (in a nice way):-)
To all you Dear Ones. -
Looking. Listening. Waiting.
Copyblogger is my first read of the day.
Can’t imagine what you can dream up to improve.
Cool, seems like a logical natural progression to me.
That’s one hell of a team you’ve got there, I’m excited to see what you guys come up with
Congratulations. Wishing you all the success.
Really great news Brian!
Curious to know if you’re running Genesis on WP 3.0+?
Thanks in advance,
Mitch Fanning
Mitch, yes we are.
So excited to see you guys running on Genesis now. I’ve been a fan of Brian’s (and the StudioPress team in general) for a while.
Awesome news, the IM market now is filled with crap and same stuff with new titles. I am sure you will have something new that would add value to internet and benefit internet marketers.
Wonderful group you have there Brian. Wish you guys all the success in the world!
This is awesome! Congratulations! I’m excited for all of you and for what we benefit from also. I read a lot everyday and Copyblogger is definitely one of ones I try to get to. It would be so cool to have a Copyblogger hat I could wear (hint, hint for merchandise).
I haven’t signed up for 3T yet but plan to soon. Looking forward to what’s coming next from you all.
Congrats! Keep up the good fight and continuing to lead the path!
September Spawned a Monster.
Congrats to everyone involved, looking forward to more from the Factory of Awesomeness!
Ha ha! Now I wish “Factory of Awesomeness” is what we’d named the company. Maybe that’s our new tag line.
Bit late on the comment but … Well done Brian & Co. on bringing together a great team and a growing list of products/services under the one media outlet.
I’m a watching and a waiting for upcoming launches. And I still remember when Copyblogger was in its first month (’96) and a newbie named Brian Clark came on the scene – it’s been awesome to watch the rise and rise, … kudos, Brian.
Hey Brian!
Didn’t notice any difference in Copyblogger as you made the shift from Thesis to Genesis. I’m guessing it’s pretty much the same?
Also, I’ve already sent you an email about seocopyblogger but I didn’t get a response from you. Just a heads-up. Thanks!
Copyblogger has been a great resource for me. It has also given me the opportunity to visit the blogs of people who post comments. All I will say Brian is whatever changes you go through, never forget what made you a great blogger. Always remember the vision you had and how that came to reality.
Keep up the good work.
Best of luck on the new venture.
Brain, Sonia and the team…congrats. I’m just (and finally) righting my ship and getting back into WordPress site development along with coaching my clients on every aspect of using their overall web presence to get more clients and grow their business.
Always loved content on Copyblogger, and have quickly become a huge fan of Genesis. Shortly, I’ll be using ScribeSEO, though I’ve sent clients there already. Can’t wait to see what’s next. Heard bits on a conversion solution coming soon…looking forward to seeing that.
You guys to great work. I’ve always been happy with the quality of what you put together (though I thought TeachingSells was a bit lacking) so I can’t wait to see what comes out of this marriage.
God speed to each of you individually and as a whole.
I stumbled onto Copyblogger.com because of Thesis, but have stayed for the compelling and extremely useful content. Thank you for being so consistent in your delivery.
Congrats on the merger. Businesses need to change in order to maintain momentum and accomplish the goals of their owners and stakeholders. I look forward to seeing what you come up with – because I actually read each and every newsletter I get from you guys.
Congratulations Brian, Simone and your team … the success and continued growth of Copyblogger are evidence of your combined talents and dedication to serving this community well …

Wow. The comments are quite personal. Inspiring.
And as long as you guys follow ‘the problem solving’ approach to business, no matter how big you get, you will always have people HUNTING you down to sell them the solutions.
“Greed” used to be such an ugly word, and they replaced it with “ambition” to mean the same thing. It is always refreshing to see that you folks have not hooked onto the “make money only” bandwagon. That’s when companies and people fall. Hard.
I wish you all the best, all of you. I have followed this blog since Brian called himself a recovering lawyer, I have seen Sonia come in and take center stage, and I have enjoyed each bit of it. Rock on! (aha! another reference to music)
Brian, Id like to speak with you about how we might us your team on a project. Could we set-up a discovery call?
Ok, I’m a little late to this party but I wanted to give a shout-out to you guys as well. I’ve been a Brian Gardner fan back when i bought my first StudioPress theme. I was working late in the night, posted a tech support question at like, 1am and much to my surprise I not only got an almost immediate response, it was from Brian himself. His help was instrumental in turning ALL my clients on to his themes and I’ve even directed some of my fellow developer friends on to StudioPress.
I sincerely wish you all the best, hope the new venture provides the strength, stability and teamwork you’re all looking for. I look forward to more awesome-ness!
God bless you guys.
Good luck in this space, it’s a competitive one!! I ventured out into a crowded online niche as well a few years back, just make sure to have your own unique twist and brand and you’ll be fine. I came across this post about a year ago when I recognized some of the names of your team members. Being it a year later, what’s the update on your progress?
Hello
Does the Premise WP plugin work on Multisite 3.21? This would be really good if it did.
I know I’m late to the party and new to all of this but I guess better late than never!
Sonia Simone and Jon Morrow are two of my inspirations.. well of course Brian Clark because I wouldn’t be here without you! But none the less a great group of inspirational people!
