I’m Locked in Mortal Combat with
Chris Garrett

Daily Blog Tips is having another of its Bloggers Face-Off battles, and they’ve pitted me against former Performancing editor Chris Garrett. The contest seemed pretty fair until Garrett called upon his subscribers to trounce me.

Now, I don’t want to tell you that you need to go over there immediately and vote for me. But you don’t want to see me cry, do you? Trust me, you don’t.

Stop by and see who gave the better answers, and then vote for me anyway. :)

  1. Nobody wants to see you cry Brian, I just don’t want to see your maniacal guffaw of triumph either 😉

  2. Me, maniacally guffaw? Never.

I might slip out an evil giggle, but no maniacal guffawing. 😉

  3. Hyeahright, I bet you were evilly stroking your ming the merciless beard James Bond villain stylee even as you wrote that 😉

  4. Mortal combat, indeed! Thank Odin the voting is anonymous. May the best manipulator of traffic win! 😉

  5. Brian, thanks for participating.

    Love your answer #6 :)!

  6. Hey Brian,
You’re always the gentleman, well done. I’m on your team.
    Beth Cole

  7. The snarky humor, the aw-shucks attitude, and the beard. Mostly the beard. It had to be you …

  8. “then vote for me anyway.” priceless.

  9. Voted, but now I feel bad for the “other guy” because you’re already winning by a landslide.

  10. You got my vote, Brian!

  11. Yeah after Brian posted things went downhill for Chris hehe.

When I told him by email he would be matched with Brian he said “Come on Daniel, it’s like facing Mike Tyson!”

  12. For the record, I read both blogs and my vote is still up for grabs. I accept bribes of cash, links, or copy. 😉

  13. From the looks of it, your enemy has been vanquished, m’Lord. See how his minions flee, shaking in terror at the vastness of your horde.

  14. I can’t take sides, you’re both in my latest book. Bribes much skew my thinking, but I’m guessing you don’t need much help :)

  15. Well thats a tough call Brian as I get the RSS feeds from both of you. Should I vote for you seeing as I found Chris Garrett via your blog or should I vote for Chris seeing as we are both adopted South Yorkshiremen living in the same kneck of the woods?

  16. I voted for you – no bribes needed. It looks like you’ve almost got it won.

  17. OK, I voted but damn you for getting the Mortal Kombat movie theme song stuck in my head. I curse you for the rest of today. Anyway good luck.

  18. Hey, it seems like you’re winning. Did you slip out that evil giggle yet? I voted for you, even though Chris Garrett seems like a nice chap too :)

  19. He did trounce you with #11. 😉

  20. You just got my vote. Not that you needed it :)

  21. For me was pretty even until the end… then came the caffeine answer.
Sorry, but had to go for Chris…
Vut from the results that I can see, you wouldn’t need my vote anyway :)

  22. Good job to you both. It’s interesting to see your answers (both serious and not)!

  23. Well your blog face off just added you to my list. I have been reading ChrisG for about 4 months so I guess it will take about a month or two to give you an honest answer on who is the king of bloggelMania!

  24. I voted for ya.

  25. Sorry Brian.

You were winning until the end, but Chris popped a 3-pointer at the buzzer with “Caffeine.”
