  1. Its not smart to do all the work and drive traffic to the creators..not smart at all. This is why I do all my themes myself..

    “Black Seo Guy “Signing Off”

  2. I’m unclear on the “drive traffic to the creators” part – are you referring to the site credit link at the bottom?
If so, we provide instructions on how to remove that. http://dev.studiopress.com/modify-footer-credits.htm
Some people remove it, others modify it to be an affiliate link – regardless of which option people prefer, we make it possible.

  3. I love this theme, and of course Genesis framework. I am currently using a free theme, and soon will be jumping to the Genesis bandwagon. Thanks for this great introductory writeup.

    • Thanks for the advice. I have already bought Genesis Framework + Prose child theme and set it up on my blog. I have to do some more customization.

  4. I am definitely going to give this theme a look

  5. I’m salivating. How is the theme for plug ins?

    • There aren’t any known conflicts with the major plugins. Of course, with thousands of plugins available, it’s hard to say that absolutely every one is safe. But know that you should be good to go with the theme.

  6. Thanks for the very useful looking theme.

  7. I’m gonna have a look at this. I’ve been thinking about doing an entire re-design of my blog, and I’m really considering StudioPress. I’m just in love with my WooThemes customizes theme, it’s gonna be hard to let go. :0)

  8. Great! I’m going to use this theme.

  9. I use Social Eyes and LOVE it. The support is awesome as well. I got it right when it came out, I think before it officially premiered and there were a few questions I had. ALL were answered within a couple of hours. Not only are the themes awesome, but they back it up with awesome customer service.

I HIGHLY recommend getting the “Pro Pack” (I think it’s about $250) and it includes all of their themes… If you develop sites for other businesses, it is awesome. Buy once, keep and use!

Also, automatic updates sent to you for the themes.

They are also structured for optimization.

Have not found anything I have not liked so far and I have used a few of their themes for myself and my clients. There was a bug in the beginning with the Social Eyes Theme converting to the “pink” mode, but they fixed it within a few hours.. and t hat was on a Sunday!

    Love, Love, Love….. highly recommend!!

    • A few hours on a Sunday? That’s a shame, we try for better than that. ;-)

Brandy, great job on the site – love how you changed up the color scheme to become purple – really shows how easy it is to make a few CSS tweaks and you have your own palette.

Thanks for dropping by and leaving such a kind comment!

  10. Really? You don’t like my purple Eeyore face?? LOL

    Seriously though, I really should…

  11. Already eyeing these child themes for awhile. They all look great but all seemed tailored for some kind of job, nothing for the blogger who just blogs about his hobby. Are the freetime bloggers left out? Or is this prose child theme ment for those bloggers?

Which child theme are you using? Can you use Genesis on its own?

Lots of questions, please, some help would be awesome.

    • Johan, check out Prose. It can be used for any kind of site due to the point-and-click customization, but the minimalist styling was done with writers and bloggers who simply want to post in mind.

  12. It’s a great looking theme and pretty sure it’s rock solid because of Genesis, but one thing I found lacking was the absence of social media buttons at the end of each post. It would’ve been awesome if the theme came with it out-of-the-box, it is after all a social media-oriented theme.

The advantage of this would be one less plugin to worry about for users. But maybe it’s just me. Still it’s another great theme from StudioPress.
