I gotta say, if Clark would let me, I’d write up one of these theme updates for you every week.

Our StudioPress team has so much cool stuff going on building premium WordPress themes. I can barely keep up with all the ways they’re making WordPress websites better, and your life online a piece of cake.

So, let me try in this quick post.

If you’ve not yet heard about what’s going on over at Copyblogger Media’s StudioPress division, we’ve built a world-class website framework for WordPress and have currently delivered (with more on the way) 37 child themes to easily skin your site.

Our StudioPress team has done most of the heavy lifting for you when it comes to website design, search optimization, and security.

Here’s a quick look at what you get “out of the box” when you hook yourself up with the Genesis framework + any of the 37 turnkey designs:

  • Unlimited updates, domains you can use your theme on, and support (you’re never on your own)
  • Quick-change between different color schemes without touching a line of code
  • Extend your site’s power and function by tapping into an array of StudioPress-made plugins
  • Evolve with your site’s growth using multiple page layout options
  • Logical navigation & category layout that lets your readers get to what they want, fast
  • All the SEO, security, and design benefits of the Genesis Framework

That said, here are two new great-looking designs direct from the StudioPress workbench …

Wedding websites have taken off.

Building a site for your (or your client’s) wedding day is a charmingly simple way to:

  • Crowd-source your planning
  • Keep friends and family updated
  • Archive your engagement (and beyond)
  • Prime your guests for optimal gift giving!

With this in mind, we’ve designed the elegant and supremely useful Blissful theme.

Forever never looked so good …

It’s Midnight, do you know where your website is?

Not sure what it says about the state of my psyche, but the new Midnight theme is my favorite to date.

Here’s a few reasons why:

  • The dead-simple 1-2-3 magazine style layout
  • The sophistication and mystery of the black and red design
  • The supremely readable headline

This theme combined with your content will make an unmistakable statement of who you are and what you’re doing.

Embrace the darkness. In this case, it’ll shine a spotlight on your best stuff.

And, we’re just getting started over on WordPress.com …

If you’re getting your feet wet by posting over at WordPress.com, you can still get all the benefits of Genesis + StudioPress. We’ve currently made the Tapestry theme, and the Pretty Young Thing theme available to set up on your site.

And that’s only the beginning …

These two themes are our first available in the new WordPress.com Premium theme marketplace, and they’re a game-changer when it comes to effortless digital media publishing.

We’ve got more Genesis-powered StudioPress themes on the way over to WordPress.com, so stay tuned.

  1. Great work!
It’s really amazing how simple you make it.
All the crazy lines of coding is done.
And you don’t have to pay some web designer big bucks when you want to simply change the color of your font!

  2. This is great news! I just signed up for the Scribe Affiliate Program and I plan on signing up for the Studiopress Program as well. This gives people more killer themes to choose from. Honestly, all the themes are all great in my opinion!

    P.S. Prose is my favorite!

    • There are a number of folks making really great money with the StudioPress affiliate program. It’s pretty much a no-brainer when you think of it, because our theme demos do a lot of the marketing themselves.

Besides, it’s hard to pass up a $105 commission when you refer people and they purchase our Pro Plus All-Themes package, right? :-)

      • It sure does! Thats great! but for me it’s more so that I really like the product genuinely. Great Job guys!

      • It is only lately that I knew that Copyblogger was linked to many other websites. I find it to be really remarkable to expand that way online. I did not know about the StudioPress affiliate program though

    • That’s awesome to hear, Dewane! (I have a soft spot for Prose as well.)

  3. Bruce that midnight theme is AWESOME (and as a general rule I don’t like dark backgrounds; that’s saying something). It’s a good thing I have the dev package. Can’t wait to see how it looks on my own real estate! ;)

It even might be my new favorite child theme.

  4. I adore the StudioPress themes. The new Blissful theme is lovely, but Family Tree is still my favorite! The response to mine has been fantastic!

  5. WOW, Brian! That is so flattering. Thank you! I looked at StudioPress themes back when I was in real estate for my real estate blog and loved them. I left my career in real estate about 2.5 years ago and started my creative blog on a whim. I hired a WP designer to create a new site for me and it was disaster. Then I happened upon Lindsey and noticed her site was SP…and the rest is history! I LOVE my new site and it seems others do, too!

  6. Dunno about the other folks, but I was sold with the part about sophistication and mystery of the red and black design :-P

  7. I was wondering when StudioPress would come out with a dark theme. Very nice Midnight theme. Well done.

  8. All fantastic themes but my comment concerns the headline Mr. Bruce used, It’s Midnight, do you know where your website is?

Awesome! I literally laughed out loud each of the first three times I read it.

Such a talented team, across the board. :)

  9. I have had a pro licence for a while but had never been able to decide on which theme to go forward with for a new venture I have been planning for about a year now…until Midnight came along.

My new site Blogshido is using Midnight with some very different colors and background images. I have used Thesis for many sites for years so customizing Genesis was a new learning experience…but I have to say…was really easy to modify given forum support threads already in existence, the great Genesis plugins and my best friend Firebug addon for Firefox.

I love Genesis and absolutely love the midnight child theme…it is my favorite so far as well.

  10. Ooooooh – those are pretty!!! How did you know I’m about to start a major redesign…?! :)

  11. They look good. I have years using Inove in various of my sites, it’s time to change i think hehe

  12. It is quite amazing to know what one can actually make our of wordpress. Any time I see people doing what I could not do, I can’t but appreciate their creativity. It is actually a great one

  13. I want to try those themes which really give my site a attractive layout…

  14. The Midnight theme is incredible. Very clean. The words and pictures really stand out.
