Maybe just a little easi-er.

  1. If anyone reading this needs help picking just one of these resources to read… with this much great stuff to choose from and only limited hours in a day you might need help picking :-)

I would recommend IMFSP (Bullet point 1) – it has changed the way I market my business. Honestly and truthfully and I’m not one to hype!

The other stuff is great too – in fact I am going to encourage my clients to read the guide to SEO copywriting, I could save so much time (and hassle) and them so much money!!

  2. The pool sounds like a good plan just do not get too comfy as we all look forward to the copyblogger posts.

  3. Only 3 posts a week from CopyBlogger? Oh noes!

Can’t wait to see what “behind the scenes” stuff your working on =]

    • Me too excited to see what the team’s cookin?? And yep that’s quite a different stance. BTW wouldn’t 3 posts distributed on a MWF basis rather than a MTW work better?? Just a thought

    • MTW is what we did last summer and it worked really well. On Thursdays and Fridays, folks seem to be thinking more about long weekends and less about building their businesses. :)

  4. All I have to look forward to this summer is HOT days (south Texas), and work work work. Yeah, I don’t get a vacation or summer break, I bet that would be fun though. One can dream I guess. Stay cool!

  5. Not sure I like sounds of this but I suppose everyone is entitled to some Summer R&R :-)

  6. That’s sooooo sad!

But I totally understand… summer is about ice cream, lemonade, beach… not about writing writing writing! I’m glad you’ll still post 3 times a week!!!

I’m looking forward to this summer!

And thank you for sharing those awesome free resources!

  7. Enjoy your well deserved “relaxed” summer schedule. Some of the best thoughts come when you can just let your mind wander while exploring new territory… it often leads to thinking differently and new possibilities.

  8. Please tell me this will include the weekly wrap with good old Johnny B. Truant:)

    • Last Wrap of the season is tomorrow. It’s … interesting.

      • Hey Brain,

As a long time reader, I will miss the daily hit!

Just wondering, now that you guys are taking a break, are you more open to guest posts for this time period? Because I have a ton of articles that I’m dying to get on to Copyblogger. Everday I look at my posts and I go they would be perfect for Copyblogger…

  9. Enjoy a margarita or two (or three). Great work…well, just about always! But in particular, I really love some of the themes you’ve all dished out via StudioPress and I dig what you’ve done with the podcast (err Radio show). Great work!

  10. I wish you a good rest. Right now, I am interested in the #3 in the list about email not being dead. I have read a message or a post not too long ago that mentioned a dwindling open rate for emails and that mobile phones offered a better alternative to reach people.

  11. I’ll be sure to enjoy my summer but I am going to kick my marketing in gear as well. I like the information about landing pages.

  12. It’s a well deserved break, kind of . I switched from publishing five days to three days as well about a month ago. The quality of my writing actually got better.

This gives me more time to think and write rather than just write to meet my daily deadline. Looking forward to your posts.

  13. There is no doubt that the living is easier in the summertime. I relish the chance for a slower pace. Of course, if it hadn’t been raining all day then I wouldn’t have gotten so much work done, so there is that.

  14. Really looking forward to seeing what you guys have planned and glad that you are taking some time to do it properly! I have no doubt the large loyal audience that you have here will lap it all up! Exciting :)
